Inviting Designs

Recently, I have been trying my hand at various kinds of design. Below are some of my favorite invitation designs (and one notepad design) that have come from my brainstorming. The first is a card I created for a friend of mine (see laurianne.blogspot.com) who is expecting her second child next May! The second design is a generic child’s Halloween party invitation (although if I can convince the smartest that a Halloween party will get him out of choosing a costume, I might use them for my own shindig). The third design is the back of a bridal shower invitation I did for one of the smartest’s cousins- I attached jewels to the front and back of each (fortunately, there were only about 10 invitations being mailed, otherwise my fingers probably would have fallen off at the knuckle).  The bridal invitation is followed by a notepad design I did for a school nurse (this particular nurse is actually fictitious, and more an experiment in notepad design). Below that is an invitation to a barbeque that is multiple pages- it took a bit to assemble but the end product was rather eye popping. Under that is my “bra bachelorette” card that, when opened, looks like a woman’s bra (which I still find hilarious). And lastly, there is a pop-out baby shower invitation with various moving parts.

If you like something that you see- GREAT! I am always open to doing special design jobs or invitations and cards for friends, families, or really nice strangers. I am constantly creating, so I will keep you posted.
