I have a infatuation with colored bobby pins. Its something that youngest K put me on to a couple years ago. They have been popping up in boutiques and the holiday section of Walmart- so I have developed a little collection of glittery and neon bobby pins that seem to find their way all over the house (and drive the smartest crazy). Since we are all about frugal here in the house of the smartests, I thought I would share my latest discovery with you:
DIY Colored Bobby Pins
What you need:
Nail polish
Bobby pins
Cardboard
What you do:
1). Place bobby pins on cardboard (sandwiched on either side of the cardboard)
2). Paint along the top of the bobby pin with your nail polish
3). Let the polish dry
4). Remove from cardboard and wear like a champ

Nail polish - how clever! This is the perfect little DIY to do with a little girl I'm babysitting tonight - thank you!!
You will absolutely go down in history as the coolest babysitter ever! I would have LOVED to make these when I was little! Send me pictures of how it goes!

Famr_4evr- I am so glad that you like it! I was super surprised by how well it worked, I was worried about the paint being sticky, but it dried nice and shiny.
Mandy-
YAY! Thank you so much! There was some STIFF competition- I love that butterfly board, and that chocolate-peanut butter dessert made me want to lick my screen.
